Hi, I'm Teri
a photographer and visual artist based in Boise, Idaho — and often in Santa Barbara, chasing a little contrast (and better light).
My work explores community, identity, and connection through a mix of documentary and fine art photography. I’m drawn to the in-between moments — the ones that feel quiet, honest, and a little overlooked — and I aim to create images that feel both intentional and human.
I earned my BFA in Photography from Boise State University, where I focused on visual storytelling and studio practice. My ongoing series, The Library Project, looks at public libraries as spaces of belonging and connection, and has received grant support through the Idaho Film Collection.
Alongside my personal work, I photograph portraits, branding, interiors, and editorial projects — always with an emphasis on atmosphere, detail, and making people feel like themselves (just slightly more put together).
I’m also co-owner of Studio Boise, a creative studio built to support photographers, artists, and small businesses with space to work, experiment, and grow.
